thirteen hallways (2021) is a heavily structured harmonic environment for guitar improvisation. loop pedals & a metronome were used to establish 13 composed soundscapes of a predetermined length. tuning fork recordings of the same lengths were provided by conrado lopez and played into the room alongside the material on the loop pedals. the composite sound was improvised over using the same guitar and effects pedals used to structure the environment. the recording took place in april of 2021 and was engineered by colin mohr.
